Microsoft adds Copilot AI productivity bot to 365 suite
Hi, I’m Justin Fraction for TR News of the Week. 2023 is shaping up to be the War of AI and Microsoft just added a new player to the battlefield.
Microsoft has announced a new addition to its 365 suite in the form of an AI language bot called Copilot.
This AI works by pulling user's data , like emails, files, and meetings, from the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
With this data, Copilot has the ability to draft email responses, plan and summarize meetings, and build powerpoint presentations based on reports written in Microsoft Word.
As great as that all sounds, Microsoft does emphasize that users double check and polish whatever Copilot creates for you.
Microsoft seems to be wasting no time when it comes to AI, so it’ll be interesting to see how Google and others handle the competition.
