POWDERY GYM CHALK REFORMS AND FRESH CHALK CRUSH ASMR
Hey hey it’s Throwback Thursday and this video is one of my faves from my Saturday series. It’s @latinxasmr and @infinitys_asmr reforms (I hope she’s doing well!).
Same reading as yesterday - sigh.
Review of Going Deep by Sophie Andrews: 3⭐️. This book was fine, but not one I’d re-read or really recommend. I didn’t really buy into the quick 180 by Camden. I didn’t really feel the chemistry between him and Nadine. I also didn’t see the connection built between Nadine and Paisley and I wish I had. There felt to be a lot of assumptions of understandings the reader should have and I just didn’t. Is this a spinoff of a series (this is the first it’s its own)?
Anyway, I liked portions of the book. But I wanted a little more character depth. The “I love you” declarations in a wildly short time (a day?) after Camden just broke up with a girlfriend he cheated on was a choice and not one I liked. Again that whole relationship needed more time and on page development for me.
I listened to the book and the FMC narrator did a nice job, the MMC narrator may have had a retainer in that I don’t notice in his other narrations and did in this one.
