In this video, I walk you through Installing Ubiquiti UNMS software on your personal server. It's easy to follow the tutorial, I have to say at the end of the tutorial I was unable to get my router to show but that is because I was using a virtual box machine. On my real server, it does show up.
Prerequisites
Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS 64 bit
Ubuntu 18.04 LTS 64 bit
Debian 9 64 bit
CentOS 7
Container Linux (CoreOS)
2 GB RAM Minimum otherwise you will get the overcommit prompt like in the video
16GB of Storage again this is the minimum required.
64 bit CPU
Local ports: 80 and 443 if those are used you can change them by adding this to the end of the curl to shell command --http-port 8080 --https-port 8443 or just wait to be prompted to change just like in the video.
Allow Ping
Install bash, curl sudo,netcat if not already installed. You can use the which command to find out where the commands, for example, enter which bash in your terminal.
