Hi, I’m Chris Woolf, author of Bumbling Through the Hindu Kush: A Memoir of Fear and Kindness in Afghanistan, and I need your help. In November 1991, I went to Afghanistan to visit a colleague and to try out the life of a foreign correspondent. We hitched a ride with an aid convoy and bumbled straight into the war. Thirty years later, I wrote a book to tell the story of my time in Afghanistan, and share my knowledge of the political and cultural background so you can join me on the journey.
I believe this story has power to help people understand and connect with the complex country that is Afghanistan, and this topic is very poignant/pertinent right now.
I’ve started this Kickstarter campaign so I can share the #BumblingBook as far and wide as I possibly can, to help people gain insight into Afghanistan’s past, present and future at this critical moment in history. The book is written, ready to be published on October 4th, and these funds will be going towards marketing and distribution.
