Camshaft cover on a 230cc motorcycle engine. Using gaskets on the rocker cover and camshaft of a timing chain engine will cause serious problems, including a very loud noise in the cylinder head, because the gasket leaves too much clearance for the bearing seats. This type of engine should only be sealed with silicone to ensure the camshaft bearing or bushing is secure.
