Aggressive Paper Wasps (Polistes exclamans).
This is my favorite Polistes species for the behavior/mannerisms of the wasps and how they orient the nests at an angle, compared to the more circular nests of other species. There were around 8 or 9 nests under this roof and I was able to save and hopefully transplant one of them for observation.
