JMeter Performance Testing
Performance Testing is crucial to determine that the web application under test will satisfy high load requirements.
It can be used to analyze overall server performance under heavy load.
Steps---
1. Create Jmeter project – Thread Group, HTTP request, Results Tree, Aggregate Report, Graphs
2. Setup HTTP Request
3. Setup the Thread Group for multiple users
Number of Threads
Loop Count
Ramp-Up Period
4. Run
Analyze Aggregate Report
Average: It is the average time taken by all the samples to execute specific label.
Min: The shortest time taken by a sample for specific label.
Max: The longest time taken by a sample for specific label.
Throughput: Throughput is the number of request that are processed per time unit(seconds, minutes, hours) by the server.
