And no longer in use compared to the Persian and Arabic of the rest of Sumeru. (Well I guess hieroglyphics for Deshret are also no longer in use but dude's dead. Dehya's alive so there.)
I know that Collei isn't one of the Trials but it just didn't feel like a finished thumbnail to just have Bennett in between Cyno and Dehya. I'm really scratching my head by Mihoyo's banner choices. Seriously guys like TenTen are also shaking their heads at this banner.
So anyway that means we just have Bennett who doesn't really need explaining at this point. He's good. You don't use him as your DPS. Use him to support Xiangling. The end.
Cyno is also the same. He really hogs the spotlight but none of the guys they give you in the Trial can really help him. Basically the idea with him is get his Burst up then he applies tons of Electro so go full on Quicken. If you can try to set up Hyperbloom. They give you both Barbara and Collei so you could set it up but the problem is that his Burst lasts so long that you'll run out of both Hydro and Dendro application long before he's done and then he's just applying basic Electro.
Finally there's Dehya. I can't really say either way if she's good or bad. The Trial they gave her melts immediately so you really don't get a good experience with her. I went back in to try her out without using any teammates and that's where some of her drawbacks start to show. She has your typical slow Claymore attack but her "finisher" is potentially much worse because she just does a Falcon Punch. That could mean very short range. Her Burst is pretty cool looking but it's also limited. It only lasts for 4 seconds. She does a few punches and then a kick. You can bridge it a little with her Skill but that's as far as you'll extend it. The good thing is you pretty much only need her for her Skill. It doesn't seem to apply the best Pyro but as far as I can tell you get two instances of it. (But they don't show up as charges. I think it might be a Passive.) All in all I think we'll really need to see if she'll do well. The Trial really doesn't say much.
Anyway I gave Dehya a 10 pull. She'll be permanently available soon anyway and Mika is on the next banners so while it pains me to not have Dehya I'm going to go for Shenhe instead. As others have pointed out Dehya and Tighnari will be 50/50 losses so everybody will eventually get them.
We didn't get any updates about what to expect for this patch and that really bugs me. They actually made a good move last time when they just told us when each of the events would be going up. I'm pretty sure they only did that because of Chinese New Year but wow Mihoyo you had a good idea and even if you weren't planning to stick to it you should have just stuck to it. I mean seriously it's a matter of consistency. Yes it was only meant for Chinese New Year but it was a good idea and that alone should have meant you keep doing it. (It's not like they don't already know when these events are going to happen each time anyway. There's no reason why they should keep these things secret and it makes them doing it worse now because we know they don't have to.)
