The Doctor & Rose - Black Roses Red

This video explores Rose's insecurity of her realtionship with the Doctor. She wants to know where she stands. The Doctor does love her, but he rarely shows it, because thats the type of man he is. He likes to show all emotions bar love. Maybe that's his insecurity. Anyway, Rose asks him whether he can turn 'her black roses red'. Meaning, their potentional lovey-dovey moments into the real thing.
Now for the editing explanation. Slightly complicated with this one. 'Normal' grayscale clips are ones that do not continue in colour. Those are the clips where Rose feels insecure. The grayscale moments that are continued by colour are when Rose is feeling a potentional lovey-dovey moment. They turn to colour, which is Rose's potentional lovey-dovey moment being turned into the real thing( "can you turn my black roses red?" ).
Hope you are still with me, it is slightly complicated but once you've watched it then it'll hopefully become clear.
The Hue clips are Rose remembering a rare lovey-dovey moment or imagining one. They also have the blur effect on them too.
And lastly, sepia clips are memories of not so happy times, times when Rose felt particuarly unloved.

posterise - Rose imagining being betrayed by the Doctor. This is only one short clip though.
