These are the REMFLEX Header Gaskets. They are made from graphite, so you don't have to re-torque them and they will seal up even with your Wide Band O2 sensor from your Electronic Fuel Injection.
I have the FiTech EFI on my 1975 Ford Bronco. And from the beginning my FiTech has always tried to add too much fuel to my system. So, I would go and lean out the system hoping that less fuel would be added.
The EFI systems are constantly using the 02 sensor to read the exhaust gasses in the exhaust pipes to determine whether or not the AFR or Air Fuel Ratio is correct. That’s the whole “self learning” of these systems. So it’s super important that the exhaust gasses that are in the exhaust pipes are not contaminated. But Header leaks can cause the AFR to be off and more fuel to be added to your system.
Now if you saw the video, I just installed my Cam, got my engine running and have a big exhaust leak. So my o2 sensor isn’t reading properly and it dumping way too much fuel into my system.
These Remflex header gaskets are going to solve all of that.
