Aqaqrabun cement work under the night sky: a story of building a house for goats.
In one of the dark and cold nights in the nomadic region, Aghaqarbun, an experienced old man familiar with traditional construction techniques, decides to cement the house of the goats of one of the nomadic families. This house, which was already built, still did not have a suitable floor, and it was necessary for Aghaqarboun, with the help of his knowledge and experience, to strengthen its floor with cement so that the goats could live in a safer environment. In the middle of the night and under the faint light of the moon, Aghaqarboun is working. He prepares and cements alone, with simple tools that he always has with him.
Due to its remoteness from the city and modern facilities, this nomadic region relies on manual and traditional works, and Aghaqarboun is one of the people who has mastered these works. Cementing the floor of the goat house is very important for the nomads, because the resistant floor can protect the animals from moisture, cold and insects. Aghaqarboon, who is always thinking of helping nomadic families, decided to do this at night, because he is usually busy during the day and has less time.
The cold night air and the sounds of animals around give a mysterious atmosphere to this night operation. Aghaqarboon carefully and calmly pours each layer of cement on the floor and smoothes it. The goats are waiting for the work to be done in a corner of the house. At the end of the night, when the handyman finishes his work, the floor is beautifully cemented and ready for use.
