_______________ BEST METRONOME APPS -- I get a lot of questions from drummers about what the best metronome app is to use while practicing drums or while drumming in a live situation. Here's a review of my two favorite metronome apps for iphone and android: Tempo metronome by Frozen Ape and Pro Metronome. I like each metronome app for different reasons. I use Pro Metronome more when I'm practicing the drums and I use Tempo Metronome more when I'm drumming in a live situation where set lists are needed.
I can review metronome apps all day, but in the end it's a personal choice. The good news is...they are making these apps so cheaply that you can keep several on your mobile device for a fraction of what it used to cost to buy a Dr. Beat.
