Cybersecurity Charisma: Unlocking Security Culture and Leadership
How you say it (and definitely how it’s presented) matter. In this talk we discuss the different ways that security leaders and their programs are using ‘charimsa’ to tszuj their security programs, company impact and importantly, their personal leadership persona. We start with unpacking charisma from a personal style perspective and talk about the different ‘flavors’ of charisma. We explore identifying your own (perhaps hidden) charismatic energy. Once we have an understanding of our own charisma – and what does and doesn’t work in different corporate environments, we’ll tackle the security program. Applying similar principles, we explore effective strategies to apply charisma to the security function. Attendees will walk away with an ‘aha’ moment of how they can tszuj their own security program, initiative, or even their leadership persona.
