JONATHAN CAYCO - 888kg World Record Total - IPF WORLDS 2023
After an extremely tight five-way battle at IPF Worlds 2022 between himself, Gavin Adin, Chance Mitchell, Emil Krastev, and Gustav Hedlund, Jonathan Cayco dominated the 93kg class this year in Malta at the IPF World Championships 2023.
After squatting 300kg and benching a huge world record 243kg bench press, the competition was over when "Mr. Perfect" secured three comfortable deadlifts, finishing on 345kg and an 888kg world record total, where no other 93kg lifter could pull for the win.
After dominating the 93kg class at Sheffield too, Jonathan is at the top of the game in the 93kg class and is the lifter to beat leading into 2024 Sheffield and next year's World Championships.
