Smart Trailer Hitch Selection | Ram 2500 Cummins Diesel Project (Ep. 1)
Ready for another Summit Racing project build series? This time, we’re taking a high-mileage, well-used pickup truck and making some key repairs and modifications to ensure it’s ready for many more miles of work duty. In addition to being a smart alternative to buying an all-new rig, we’ll show you how a few easy truck upgrades can bring an old pickup's performance up to modern standards. Dubbed the Ram Revamp, our project truck in this build series is a 2018 Ram 2500 equipped with the Cummins 6.7 liter turbodiesel engine. The project series begins by taking a good look at some hitch models, then we’ll select the best one for the particular towing jobs this truck will see in its future.
