Accidentally blocked someone on Discord and now can’t figure out how to undo it? Or maybe you blocked a user months ago and their name has vanished from your friends list, leaving you with no obvious way to find them again. The unblock option isn’t always where you’d expect—and clicking through the wrong menus can waste your time. This video shows the two reliable methods to unblock people on Discord, whether you remember their username or not.
You’ll learn the primary method: opening your Discord app, tapping your profile at the bottom right, then the gear icon, and navigating to “content & social” where the blocked accounts list is actually hidden. The video demonstrates tapping “unblock” next to any username on that list. But there’s a second method many users miss—if you share a mutual server with the blocked person, you can visit their profile directly from the member list and unblock from there. However, if you blocked someone and then left all common servers, that profile-based method becomes impossible, leaving you dependent on the settings menu alone.
