This is how I would make videos in HDR. I would love for my content to be all delivered in HDR although I'm only gonna be limited to Premiere Pro for now for my HDR workflows. If I were to color grade it in ACEScct, it would give me roughly 200 nits peak brightness. I'm assuming that's the actual dynamic range my phone can provide me with and it's fine for a lot of things but for me I want to spectral highlights to be bright and stuff and I think that Premiere Pro does exactly that.
That isn't to say that you shouldn't color grade HDR in Davinci, it's just my own hardware limitation as I don't have a real camera that could film in HDR but I'll probably get one soon (or maybe not lol)
Anyways, this is quite different from what I would normally upload. But do keep in mind, I'm only doing this again for testing purposes. That being said, I only made this video because I wanted to try out this specific workflow if it would suit me in the best way and to conclude, yes it did. It felt quite normal editing in it as long as you get your exposure right and the way you want it to look.
