Vegetation fire along Hwy 138 west of I-15 in Southern California. The fire starts in the Cajon Valley and eventually spreads over the mountain to Phelan. Directly in the path of the fire was a home with a large collection of classic cars. Unfortunately the owners had neglected to clear the brush near to them and their home, to make matter worse they stored some flammables outside of their garage, that coupled with a good wind created intense flames, with explosions. A US Forest Service crew scrammbles to save the home. Unfortunately after two expolsions I decided to make a retreat and live to shoot more fires another day, that and no health insurance....
