The Adder: A species spotlight from the Mendip Hills AONB
The European adder, Vipera berus is one of the 'champion' species chosen by the Mendip Hills AONB Unit as they are threatened but also represent a key habitat, heathlands and grasslands, on the Mendip Hills that needs protecting. The Unit are publishing a Nature Recovery Plan to help people and organisations address the ecological emergency. For more details visit Projects - Mendip Hills AONB
