Since X MATCH is said to be a successor to MATCH, it Is expected to also work well with the INDEX function. But how do you use X MATCH and Index together?
In this lesson, you will learn how to use the two functions together as one formula.
The x match function searches a value from an array, then returns an integer that corresponds to the position of the match found in the array.
Meanwhile, the index function returns a value at a given position in a range or array of data.
And combining the two functions together, they can work as a lookup function.
