[NES][Any%] Attack of the Killer Tomatoes Speedrun in

I was looking through random NES games and came across this one. I decided to run it because it was short, but difficult. Sort of surprisingly, there's no non-TAS or TAS of it.

Stage 1: Straightforward, get to the pot hole at the end. Only thing is the boss, which you have to stomp on 5 times. I make sure the last hit is facing the pot hole so I can get an extra boost.

Stage 2: Here is when things start to get difficult. The individual levels aren't that hard. The hardest part is not losing any lives, especially against those weird tomatoes that throw shit at you. They are impossible to kill/stomp on, so you have to get around them, which involves taking damage.

The pipe organ room is... weird. The pipes on the left are very easy to hit, because for some reason the rocks gravitate towards the pipes, even if you are to the left or right or them. However, as you move towards the right side, you have to be more direct with the pipes. I start with the right side because as you hit more and more pipes, the pipes that aren't hit send tomatoes out at a faster rate, so getting the right side out of the way makes everything much easier.

I also had a 5 second mistake in the room with the platforms and tomato birds by jumping too early. OH WELL.

Stage 3: As my timer says, FUCK THIS. So in this level, you can press the B button to run faster. This helps on the conveyor belts. That's cool and all, but avoiding tomatoes is IMPOSSIBLE on this level. Not to mention THERE'S A GIANT ROBOTIC ARM THING TRYING TO KILL YOU. Ok, moving on. I get the extra health because I'll need it. I then jump on to the tiny platform (very difficult), and jump to the side and hit the lever which flips me upside down. Unfortunately, I missed it in this run the first time, wasting about 20-25 seconds, huge mistake. Now, I move in a certain sequence so I can get the extra health and get into the pipe.

This is actually probably the easiest part. It's just a pattern I've memorized. The only thing that's sort of annoying is that shocking ball thing, but usually it's not a big deal.

Now, we get to what I call the "kill room". In this room, you're SUPPOSED to kill like 20 of the guy's tomatoes (in all different forms) that he sends out so you can advance through the blocked doorway. However, I found a glitch on accident where if you run against the doorway while an enemy hits you, you clip through the door. This was a HUGE sequence break, because this room was the hardest part of the speedrun due to the amount of enemies you have to kill with such precision and low HP.

Stage 4: Ah, many chokes here. Just another maze, but with a lot of enemies. The worst ones are at 5:41, 5:56, and 6:13. These things are LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE to get past unless you jump over them.... and that's very difficult. Unlike most enemies in this game, I actually had to develop a strategy for getting past them. Finally I did, and I didn't choke! Not a lot of wasted time here, maybe 5 seconds or so.

Timer starts on start/when having control, timer ends when he hits the control room thing at the end. The end of the video is a little weird because quicktime sucks (or my macbook) and it can't handle the super intense (read: not intense at all) explosions at the end.

This time is improvable by I'd say 30-45 seconds, a minute at the most.
