HOUDINI LOAD SCRIPT TOOL
This HDA ( download below ) makes it possible to run several python functions at a push of a button or run functions when the scene file boots. This is more than just an alternative for the 123.py script. The main advantage of the "LOAD SCRIPT HDA" is that you can run python functions based per scene or per project or whatever you want. Instead of using the 123.py that will execute the same script over and over again everytime Houdini boots. With the "LOAD SCRIPT HDA" you can save your custom scripts per HIP file. Just add the Load Script HDA to your scene file. Point it to a "boot.py" script, write a default function and Enable the OnLoaded flag. You can then adjust the script change settings without even opening up the HIP file
Imagine having to change several settings on a project with hundreds of scenes.
Execute repetitive tasks like adding a bunch of outputs to an object merge.
Save up several python scripts and re-use them whenever...
