Sabertooth motor controller programming - Foam & Fiberglass Mini Pontoon Boat
I'm using the Dimension Engineering Sabertooth 2x60 (amp) DC motor controller on my mini-pontoon boat. The eventual plan is to have it power two trolling motors for tank / skid steering....but right now I only have one motor, so I'm going to use it to power that motor + a steering motor.
The only wrinkle is that I'm using a 24v battery (backup for my well pump) on the boat, with 12v motors...so I had to program it to only go to 55% of the input voltage at maximum throttle.
