Basic Rules for RCC Column Design
This video shows some basic rules for the design of RCC Column. Some of the basic rules are:
Use a minimum of 9x9 inches column size
Use a minimum of 4 numbers of longitudinal bars
Use minimum M20 grade concrete
Use a minimum 12mm diameter of the longitudinal bar
Use a minimum of 6mm diameter of the transverse bar
Hook min length of 3 inches or 9d
Hook bend 135 degrees.
