You don't need LED volumes to create live-action virtual productions when working with Unity. In fact, you can create far richer worlds by embedding traditional green screen footage into Unity virtual production workflows using chroma keying.
LED volumes act as a 21st century background, but green screen footage (and even live streams!) can be placed inside of your 3D worlds. This allows you to place foreground objects in front of your actors without having to build physical real-world partial set pieces!
