Is Gahaz still worth it since the nerf and the arrival of higher-end spots?

For Season Characters and beginners, Gahaz can be worth it, especially if other entry-level grind spots are crowded: 140 AP and 200 DP are enough as long as you skip Elite mobs (Shadow of Gahaz).

The spot will generate a good ratio of Silver, Experience and Skill Experience compared to other spots for the same gear level. I made 72m / hour on a 235 AP Tamer there (Blue LS, no Agris). You get a decent amount of Scrolls Written in Ancient Language. Compared to other entry-level Valencia Spots, it isn’t as prone to issues like overpopulation, tanky mobs and desert travel.

It’s convenient to grind at Gahaz because of the Blacksmith and Storage Keeper at Shakatu, a villa and 2 Wacky Toshi Marni Stone vendors nearby. Marni Stones are worth it for players at level 57 or higher, but below 62. Buy the Marni Stones with 250 monsters in them, not 500 - their cost / experience ratio is better.

Season Characters benefit from a weekly quest at the Node Manager, 2 region quests and a higher drop rate of Time-Filled Black Stones (not 100% confirmed, please share what you know in the comments). In the Corsair Season, there is no Season Pass Challenge at Gahaz, so the spot will not be as busy as last time.

Preparation:

Blue Loot Scroll
Agris Fever
Max Attack / Casting Speed
Pets “fast”
Do not autopath in the monster zone
Daily Quest for 1 Caphras Stone at the Node Manager
Optional: Guild Quest
Level 57 - 61.99: Marni Stones (250)

Use Loot Scrolls / Agris with caution if you expect that you can go to better spots soon. Note: Non-Season characters should be able to progress to better spots quickly with minimal gear upgrades from Narchillan Gear and Main Quest Accessories. Watch the “Zero Silver Build” to learn more, you can find it linked in the description or the pinned comment.

There are 2 good rotations: Cliff Rotation with the highest mob density and Main Rotation with Elites. The location of all Gahaz Elite Mobs is shown in the video. Typically, cliff is better than main. Both rotations are grinded counter-clockwise.

What to do with your items:

Scrolls Written in Ancient Language: Combine them and run them. Open the bundles and keep the Memory Fragments. Calculate silver per hour with the calculator I linked.

Enhanced Rosar Weapons: Sell on the Central Marketplace for silver, enhance and sell, or extract Black Stones at the Blacksmith.

Base Rosar Weapons: You can obtain Trace of Memory and Pure Titanium Crystals by heating the weapons in the Processing tab in your inventory. Hold on to all Traces until you learn how to use them profitably. You craft Manos Accessories with the Pure Titanium Crystals or sell them.

Yona Fragments and Black Magic Crystals: They can count towards your Guaranteed PEN Accessory progress (watch the Jetina Quest Guide I linked).

Serap Necklaces: Melt for Yona Fragments unless the Serap’s price has gone up a lot.

Ancient Spirit Dust: Combine into Caphras.

Caphras Stones: Sell them on MP if you are a very new player, hold onto them if you are closing in on TET Boss Weapons or Armor (or you already have better gear).

Know when to leave Gahaz. Better options include the Infinite Potion Spots (HP: Blood Wolf, Forest Ronaros, Sherekhan Necropolis; MP: Tshira Ruins, Manshaums, gather at Navarn Steppe). Pila Ku Jail and Sulfur Mine are also better (Archeologist’s Map Pieces). And of course Hystria and Aakman if you have the AP / DP.

Tshira Ruins should be in reach as soon as you can go to Gahaz. You will make less silver than in Gahaz, but you have a chance to drop an Infinite MP Potion Piece. I also recommend watching my Manshaum Forest Rotation. You know where to find the link :)

You can also look into entry-level spots for Skill Points grinding.

Have fun at Gahaz.
