HIATO presents a rich EP of artists who are becoming great revelations in Brazilian music production. Mariz headlines the release with three original tracks, one of them accompanied by the impressive vocals of Sensitive (IT) and with a beautiful reinterpretation of Ortus and Pedrada.
Move On has Sensitive (IT)'s vocals as the main protagonist of the song and its apex is the immersive and engaging break, which returns with aggressive and modern synths.
The Ortus and Pedrada remix brought a more serious and dense aesthetic, focusing on melodic and atmospheric elements.
Discovery is a strong track, with an open rolling bass, aggressive snare, and powerful metallic synth. However, it has its lightness through a subtle arpeggio and spaced melody, like a game of question and answer. It also has a robotically processed vocal that gives the track a special touch.
Justice is a song with a darker atmosphere, with dense and strong synths. It has a very groovy base and its drums are very rooted in Techno. The vocals generate suspense and tension in the breaks.
