1. At first, there were screams. Sharp, chaotic, as if something was wrong 🐦
No one immediately understood what was going on.

A baby seal pup. And a flock of crows around it.
The birds were already circling and pecking, testing its resistance.
It couldn't.
3. Seal pups are completely defenseless in their first weeks.
They move poorly, don't know how to defend themselves, and often become easy targets.
And crows aren't "cute birds."
They're intelligent predators that quickly figure out a weak spot.
4. The fishermen didn't hesitate for a second.
They ran up. They dispersed the flock. They took the baby.
It was shaking, barely moving... but it was alive.
— "Will it survive?"
— "If we have time..."
And in such cases, these aren't just words.
5. According to ecologists, most marine animal pups die in the first weeks of life.
And sometimes, the difference between life and death is literally just a few minutes.
Just the time it takes for someone... not to pass by.
