Building the Affordaplane Part 35
This is Part 35 in the how to build series for constructing the Affordaplane ultralight aircraft. This is a plans built Part 103 ultralight aircraft that is easy to build. Our goal is to make experimental aviation affordable and bring more people into flying and building their own aircraft.
In this part, we demonstrate how to "cover" the rudder using an approved fabric made for that purpose. Jim Pfarr, chairman of the EAA ultralight & LSA Advisory Committee is the chief demonstrator on this process. We use the Stewart Systems adhesive chemicals for this stage of the covering process.
