Food Forest Magic presents another video using examples of permaculture to grow organic vegetables.
This beautiful land in Northern California was unused for over 25 years and had 25 horses running all over and pounding the soil. The horses also left lots of compost but the they needed to rip the soil with an tractor attachment. Later the residents added a nitrogen fixer Azola Red Fern to the plots. The fern (pond scum) came from a man-made
pond nearby the property.
