5 SHOCKING leaks found in YouTube Algorithm

These algorithm tricks help in YouTube ranking.
By far the most important thing I found is how the scoring for the ranking system works.
For years now, creators have speculated that there is a list of channels that YouTube doesn’t like and therefore not promote.
My opinion was always: it’s your content, not the algorithm, until I stumbled upon something weird.
It turns out: that list actually exists.
There is a hard-coded list of channel-ids that YouTube does not promote.
I couldn’t find my channel in there, but I can imagine that when you are on that list, you are not happy.
I also found a list of channels that YouTube steals views from.
They deliberately subtract views from certain channels.
Regretfully, the blacklists are fixed, but there is something you can do about the views.
I’ve found a code that allows you to boost your views on a video.
When you go to a video watch page, type in “awesome”, don’t type it in a text box or something, but when the focus is on the youtube player type in the letters of the word “awesome”.
Now the bar of the player starts flashing, this means that the boost is activated and the views on that video will go up.
I don’t mind you trying this out on this video.
And you can switch it off by typing “awesome” again.
The next thing I found has to do with tags.
I’ve been saying for a long time now that tags don’t work anymore, but that is not entirely true.
Number 3 is actually hard to pull off.
I found this one in the speech recognition algorithm which also leans on the contentID algorithm.
This method can give you a boost of 17% in the rankings.
I found in the words of “old mac donald had a farm” in the source code, but it needs to match the melody of the French National Anthem.
I’ve tried it, it took me a couple of times, but it actually works
With the next method you can increase your score in the ranking with 56%.
I found a pattern recognition in the Video Intelligence Algorithm that matches the shape of a person standing on his head.
When you release a video in which you are standing on your head, YouTube rewards you for your in the ranking.
The video ranked #2 within a day on my dj channel.
So that is definitely worth doing some gymnastics.
I’ve saved the best one for last, because it is so easy to do and helps you so much.
I’ve tried it and saw a boost of 86% in the ranking.
It has to do with the title of a video.
You can only do this when you upload the video, because it doesn’t work when you change the title later.
When you upload a video, give the video the title “happy april fools day”.
