Warhammer 40K Boltgun | Chapter 3 Gameplay Walkthrough Video
This is not a complete walkthrough, I really didn't enjoy this chapter as it seemed more rushed than the others before it. I died on the last level and decided to call it a day. I will at some point go back and complete it but right now the chapter really bored me i'm afraid to say. I still think this game is really worth buying and is excellent but this last chapter lost me.
I often find Warhammer 40K games to be a bit of a minefield, some are great from day one and others take a few months to get to a playable state, Warhammer 40K Boltgun however is perfect out of the gate. If you are a fan of first person Boomer shooters or just having plain fun in the Warhammer 40000 universe then this game is for you. The game feels a correct fit in the Warhammer world, the buildings, flags, outposts, Cathedrals all feel true to Warhammer 40K. There are so many enemies to experience and fight, and your arsenal is truly devastating, from boltguns, plasma, melta, shotguns, and even some at the time of writing this I havent tried yet. To me this game is great fun, and just because I have read some reviews that state this next but I want to categorically say, yes it has a Prodeus feel to it but that is where the comparisons stay.
The really refreshing thing about this game is from day of release you were able to play a stable release without constant crashes or a really low frame rate. I've said it once and I'll say it again; major devs can learn a thing or two from indie and smaller developers. I bought this game on Steam during a sale for £17 and I DO NOT regret my decision at all.
