In today's video, we'll show you how to properly maintain your sunroof.
With the sunroof fully open, we'll proceed to clean the remains of dust and sand from inside the tracks. For this cleaning, we can use an air compressor or a compressed air spray can.
The next step is to clean the remains of old grease from the track. To do this, we'll use a rag or paper towel and a degreaser. This degreaser can be either aerosol or liquid. We must thoroughly clean the remains of old grease.
To relubricate the track, we'll use a lithium adhesive grease. This grease can be applied as a spray, as in our case, or as a paste using a brush.
We must carefully examine all areas where there was previously grease to reapply it. Once the product is applied, we will clean any possible grease splashes.
The next step is to rehydrate the rubber seals. To do this, we'll use a tissue and silicone spray.
It's important to apply the product to all the sunroof seals. We must open and close the sunroof several times so that the grease is distributed evenly throughout the rail.
Finally, we'll clean the glass so you can enjoy our sunroof with the maintenance done.
