Drawing in Illustrator can seem challenging at first, but with the right tools and a clear workflow, it becomes much more intuitive. I’ve found that having a defined process not only helps keep things organized but also makes achieving great results much easier.
My process is straightforward: sketch, line art, color base, hard shadows, soft shadows, highlights, secondary elements, and refinements. Each step builds upon the previous one, and while it’s normal to have a ‘favorite part,’ every stage has its importance. The key is to approach the process with patience and organization, no matter the software you use.
