A SaltConf17 tech talk by Charles Ruffino and Alex Peay of SaltStack. This session provides an overview of SaltStack Enterprise and how it makes the power and scalability of Salt accessible to your entire IT operations team through an easy and intuitive GUI, and an enterprise-grade API and flexible architecture. We demonstrate the creation of targets and advanced job targeting, running jobs, controlling access to an environment through role-based access control, and tracking this history of everything that happens in a SaltStack-controlled infrastructure. The session will also review newer features like high availability and infrastructure visibility from high-level infrastructure component relationships to low-level minion details.
