Financial Statement Analysis using Python and SQL
We retrieve quarterly financial statement data for Ford Motor Company for 20 years as well as daily stock prices for the same time period. We then convert it from a JSON format into an Excel file with columns and rows. Ultimately, we import the data into a relational database and use SQL to perform basic financial statement analysis including ratio analysis.
