Everybody runs into this issue when doing perspective drawings: what happens when a door is open and doesn't line up with everything else in the perspective setup? If a door is closed or open 90 degrees, it just uses the same vanishing points, but if it's open slightly, it uses a new set of vanishing points. This video goes over that concept.
