So if you are starting to make videos this a pretty good video light to start with, one thing to note you will need to make some further purchases because you are not getting any light stand or any batteries if you are planning to use this where there is no outlet, but for someone like myself I don’t really need any batteries because this is going to be stationary.
So, the things we get here are a nice carrying case with some padding inside we the adapter along with the power cable which seems to have a decent length but once you go ahead and put it up higher in a light stand it will tangle.
If you are looking to find the best led lighting for video than the Neewer LED video light kit is a very good choice to start with because it offers great range in 3200-5600 kelvin and excellent brightness.
Looking at the front of the light we have a metal frame which feels very solid a durable which I like and this one comes with a total of 960 LEDS with 480 Yellow and 480 White which range in 3200-5600 kelvin which makes it the best led lighting for video for the price.
This also claims to have a 96+ CRI which is good when we are looking for video lights, but the first thing that I tested out was to see if there was any flickering good news I shot a video a slow motion and did not detect any flickering which is amazing as prior light that I used did have flickering which drove me nuts.
Here you see alight diffuser which can be easily removed just make a note if you are going to buy one of these Neewer LED video light kit the light diffuser has a film which you need to remove.
The back of the unit we have here the slots for the batteries also we have the switch here which has the 2 and 1 which can switch the source which to draw power from either from the batteries or power cable.
Now we have the two wheels which control the Yellow light and white light also both are dimmable, and in this video lighting kit you are able to play around with these by turning only the white or turning both a temperature you prefer.
