American support may not have been decisive, but it certainly shortened the war by several years, saving the lives of hundreds of thousands of Soviet citizens. Besides tanks and aircraft, trucks and cars were the most important items in the Lend-Lease program. However, after the war ended, they quickly disappeared. What happened to them?
