Gradually-varied Flow Experiments
This video shows gradually-varied flow experiments in a lab flume of length 10 m. The objectives of the experiments were to:
Examine the water surface profile downstream of a sluice gate by changing to the distance to a free fall at the flume end.
Examine flow at junction of steep and mild slopes along the flume.
Examine chocked flow over a hump in flume bed.
