This project monitors the secondary side of the distribution transformer. The data is transmitted in real time to an IoT platform for visualization, data storage and triggers are created(SMS AND EMAILS) which are sent to power distribution companies incase of power outage, power blackout, under voltage and over voltage. The alerts sent has information such as fault type ,the transformer location and voltage level. This reduces time of response for the distribution companies to respond to faults.
