So, you’re recording without a click – on stage as well as in studio? That’s great! If later you wish to add overdubs or loops to this recording, or if you want to quantize the loose timing of one of the musicians, it still makes sense to have a decent click track and a consistent time grid. To retrieve them subsequently, Melodyne comes with unique tempo detection features.
