How to Beat the Team Star Dark Crew Base in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

What’s up everybody, today we’re going to be taking on Team Star’s Dark Crew Base just outside of Cascarrafa. First off, since this Team Star Base uses Dark type Pokemon, you are going to want to have the right pokemon in your party to take it on. Dark type Pokemon are weak to Fighting, Bug and Fairy types. If you do not have any pokemon of these typings in your party I highly recommend you teach one of your pokemon the move Low Kick from the ™ Machine or you could easily catch a Mankey before taking on the Dark Crew Base as they are right by the Pokecenter outside the base. Just make sure you are not bringing any Pokemon with you that are weak to Dark like Flying or Rock types. Once you have three Pokemon selected to take on the Team Star Base you are going to want to make sure they are at a high enough level. Giacomo has a Pawniard at level 21 and the boss battle with his Revavroom is no joke, so you should try to have a few super effective mons around level 20 or higher. Before my fight with Giacomo I had a level 22 Oinkologne, a level 23 Clodsire that I tought Low Kick, and a level 24 Floragato and even I had a tough time taking out his Revavroom.
Now that you have the correct Pokemon, you’re ready to take on the Dark Crew Base. Fighting all of the Team Star members is pretty easy, just throw out your pokemon one at a time against their hoards of dark type pokemon and you should be able to rack up 30 points relatively quickly.
Now the fight with Giacomo is pretty straight forward if you have three good leveled mons that are super effective against dark. When I took him on my Clodsire was easily able to take out his Pawniard, and my Oinkologne and Floragato were able to finish off his Revavroom.
