OSL is easier than it seems
Today I'm showing two OSL painting techniques—a complex one with an airbrush and a simple one with a drybrush. Both work, but the principle is the same: OSL glows not because you paint yellow, but because the rest of the world around it is dark and cold. In this video, I discuss how I retrained myself to see contrasts, why I chose blue and green for shadows (it's not just pretty—it's the Purkinje effect, a scientific fact), and why even a beginner can paint OSL in 20 minutes.
