AWS Summit DC 2021: Large-scale, Oracle-engineered systems migration to the cloud
Deloitte and the state of California migrated the state’s Health Benefit Exchange, known as the California Healthcare Eligibility, Enrollment, and Retention System (CalHEERS), to the AWS Cloud using an Oracle on Amazon EC2 non-RAC installation and the latest AWS technologies. This cloud migration has made a significant positive impact on California, reducing capital and operational infrastructure expenditures, improving system performance and creating operational efficiencies through AWS machine learning and automation technologies. The session will review technical challenges, roll out and lessons learned, and discuss how you can get started on your Oracle migration.
