The North West Cave almost got the best of me!
In this Ark Survival Ascended solo PVE livestream on The Island, I tackle the infamous North West Cave to retrieve the Artifact of the Skylord. What was supposed to be a cautious crawl through the tunnels quickly turned into a chaotic fight for survival.
I started by deploying my Baryonyx for backup—only to realize it cannot be ridden inside caves. Cryopodded and alone, I battled Araneos, bats, and narrow passages, trying to reach the artifact.
Then it happened: A bat lunged from the darkness, delivering a jump scare that nearly ended the run!
Despite the chaos, the Artifact of the Skylord was successfully secured, and I made my way back to the snow biome base before returning to the southern base for a full tour of what I’ve built so far.
The Island adventure continues, but the next big challenge is already on the horizon—the underwater caves holding the Artifact of the Cunning and Artifact of the Brute. Before that, I’ll need a powerful Basilosaurus to survive the deep seas.
