this is a Layer 2 tunneling protocol, L2tpv3 allow a suer to pass different types of Layer-2 traffic.
L2tpv3 provides Virtual Circuit to communicate, a point-to-point connection in between customers.
after all the config of L2tpv3 customer gets a back to back connected link on both ends like they are connected via a serial link. so using L2tpv3 a customer can have any subnet on both ends, any protocol any kind of data customer can run on both devices
