Cyber Crime & Data Protection - Challenges
the seminar upon cyber crime and data protection challenges was organised by faculty of law, SGT university at the Indian law institute, New Delhi.
It was presided over by eminent speakers like Mr. P.k. Malhotra ex secretary ministry of law and justice , Mr. Neeraj Arora Advocate Supreme Court of India etc.
They shared their views on the emerging issues and challenges in the cyber world , they discussed regarding the kind of different cyber crimes that are taking place and how the entire cyber dynamism is changing , the main focus was regarding the Information Technology laws (Information Technology Act 2000 as amended by the amendment act 2008) and its functions in order to control these crimes and the appropriate measures which are mentioned under these laws. The learned speakers also shared their views regarding the emerging trends and the effectiveness of the legal framework to tackle with these problems.
