So this was about my 5th run through most of DS3's essential bosses and I felt like trying out Nameless without much preparation at around lvl 99 or something. As a result, my initial game fighting the giant danger-chicken with the greatbow is pretty good. Of course, cause you have to grind that shit out a thousand times to get some good chances at phase 2. And this build also was trying to specialize around using the greatbow for having a fun PVE experience, so this whole dragon area was the bread and butter of this build.

However, the second half of the fight is much more of a human struggle, as I'm totally winging it and wasn't quite sure which weapon I should have gone with. Now looking back, it took me way too long to realize 1. the escape roll timing for the lucerne moveset is way too slow for this fight (even if you two-hand it! idk why i thought that would help), and 2. pay attention (4:03) to the direction of the swing of the incoming attack (sekiro would later go on to nail this lesson for me with owl's odachi and feints).

The armour swap, I'm proud of though, I definitely suggest players to prep by finding a set of armor in their inventory that works well with and figure out where it is in the menu.

Looking at it that way, the armour swap is what allowed my to tank all those hits later on and kinda let it become an all out brawl with my chugging a bunch at the end. I do wonder what I could have maybe done if I taught myself to be even more careful and think more methodically so that I got hit less, but still I had fun in the end.
