On Sept. 21, 2023, the Fairfax County Office of Human Rights and Equity Programs, along with collaborators from the City of Alexandria, Prince William County, Loudon County, and the Equal Rights Center, hosted an insightful program with esteemed speakers including Demetria McCain, Esq., HUD Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary, Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity, and Mindy E. Weinstein, Esq., EEOC Washington, D.C. Field Office speaking on emerging issues in both Fair Housing and Equal Employment. Additionally, Directors of local Human Rights Agencies presented “how to” information for individuals seeking to file human rights complaints in the various jurisdictions.
